Swasti (4/30/19) is a soft-spoken, calm and well-mannered boy. He likes playing with his sister and going to school together. They love each other very much. Swasti lives in a downtrodden community. Swasti’s father works as a cobbler and his mother works at the landlord’s house, cooking, washing clothes and cleaning the house. The father earns an undependable and meager wage while his mother is not compensated fairly. This creates challenges for the parents to meet their children's basic needs like education expenses, clothing, nutrition and medical care. Many people in their community are alcoholics and act rudely. The father really wants to provide his children so they will not suffer like he does.
